It seems that Google liked Motorola’s Xoom so much, it bought the company: last week the search giant announced its acquisition of Motorola Mobility

Motorola’s going through something of a purple patch just now, with well-liked Android phones and now, an impressive Android tablet too. The Xoom won’t be cheap, but it’s one of the most interesting Android devices to date.
