Like many netbook manufacturers MSI was quick to clamber aboard the tablet bandwagon, but its WindPad 100W isn’t likely to come up when people discuss iPad killers. Could its next two tablets change that?

It’s been a bad week for Research In Motion (RIM). Its BlackBerry Playbook tablet was supposed to be an iPad killer, but it’s suffered from lukewarm reviews – and if that wasn’t bad enough, it’s emerged that RIM shipped hundreds of faulty Playbooks to a major US retailer.

It isn’t official yet, but the Internet is swirling with rumours about the supposed Sony S1 Tablet, the first tablet from the famous electronics firm. These are the key rumours so far
