Unfortunately for RIM it’s been forced to change its new operating systems name due to legal threats from a software firm, and BBX’s release date is slipping fast: it now looks unlikely that BBX – renamed BlackBerry 10 – will ship until late 2012

If you’ve got any spare comedy DVDs kicking about, you might want to send them to RIM: the BlackBerry firm could probably do with some cheering up. The firm’s tablet adventures are giving it a major pain in the wallet, and its troubles don’t appear to be over.

It looks amazing in the promo videos, but does the BlackBerry PlayBook have the horsepower to justify the hype? Manufacturer RIM claims it’s the fastest tablet ever, which is bound to annoy rivals whose tablets pack more processing power.
