Earlier this year, we predicted that HTC’s secret Puccini tablet would be a ten-inch Honeycomb job with a dual-core processor. The rumoured June release date has been and gone, but it looks like the rest of our predictions were correct: details of the Puccini have leaked, and it looks pretty interesting.

While HTC is busily promoting its seven-inch HTC Flyer Android tablet, details of a bigger, better bit of kit are starting to emerge. According to internet rumour sites a new tablet, codenamed the HTC Puccini, will launch later this year.

The furore over the hacked PlayStation Network may make Sony rue this decision, but the S1 and S2 will be branded as PlayStation tablets and will run first-generation PlayStation games. The S1 is for “rich media entertainment” and the S2 for “mobile communication and entertainment”.
